The challenge: You can't say anything negative about your husband ...to your husband...or to anyone else, about your husband. Also, you must say something that you admire or appreciate about your husband...to your husband...and to someone else, about your husband.
Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Nancy tells us here that children can be quite a challenge to the marriage relationship. I often wonder what couples without children do with all of their free time! And, what could they possibly have to fight over? Today's verse presents an opportunity to praise your husband for how he treats your children. Through discipline, support and encouragement, things he teaches them, even everyday speech. Remembering also as Nancy states: "Negativity makes a man feel like a failure, and may make him to want to give up."
Keep up the communication with your husband, remembering to pray for him daily and use words of encouragement.
